LayarHijau.com – Chinese streaming platform Youku has officially announced the release of a new short drama adaptation titled Hidden Love for You (偷偷藏不住), premiering on June 26, 2025. While it shares the same original novel as the 2023 hit Hidden Love starring Zhao Lusi and Chen Zheyuan, this latest version presents a completely separate production, featuring a different cast, a shorter format, and a more concise emotional tone.
This new version stars Tian Hongjie as Duan Jiaxu and Huang Panpan as Sang Zhi. According to the drama’s official Weibo page, Hidden Love for You will consist of 24 episodes, though the runtime per episode has not yet been revealed. Youku announced the release via its official X (formerly Twitter) account, writing:

The drama is directed by Hu Xing and also features Ma Zhe as Sang Zhi’s older brother, Sang Yan, along with supporting cast members Zeng Qingsheng and Liu Boxu.
To clarify, Hidden Love for You is not a sequel or remake, but a new standalone version of the same source novel. In contrast, Hidden Love (2023) was a 25-episode standard-length drama.
