Liu Xueyi Rumored to Be Under Tax Investigation

Chinese paparazzi outlet "Mystery Junjiang Xiaoyan" revealed that Liu Xueyi and Zhang Songwen have been asked by the tax department to explain discrepancies between their reported income and the amount of tax paid.

It has been reported that Zhang Songwen, who gained fame after the drama "The Knockout," earns over RMB 20 million (approximately Rp 44.4 billion) per drama.

Liu Xueyi is also rumored to be under tax investigation. However, the specifics regarding the amounts of tax and the actor's income have not been disclosed. This has raised concerns among netizens that Liu Xueyi may face restrictions due to these tax issues, which could affect the airing of his upcoming dramas.

He is rumored to star in a drama with Meng Ziyi titled "Peach Blossom Reflects The Country," where he is expected to play Shen Zaiye, the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Qi, who becomes entangled in political intrigue and forbidden love. This drama is adapted from a novel by Bai Lu Chengshuang.

His highly anticipated upcoming drama is "A Moment but Forever," in which Liu Xueyi stars alongside Tang Yan. This drama is adapted from a novel by Jushiro and tells the story of a goddess striving to save her people.
